I’ve been to Dai-Tetsudo-Haku, the Great Train Expo held at Hiten banquet room in Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa with my wife. It’s a weekday, but the venue was very crowded with families and kids.
We went to the Chugginton booth at first. There was a big TV monitor and the Chugginton video was playing. Many children were in front of the monitor and watching the video in earnest. Sometimes a few children danced to the song ‘Janken Train’ which is main theme of the Dai-Tetsudo-Haku, and also is the ending theme of the Chugginton TV program casting by Fuji-Televison, sang by Takeshi Tsuruno.
To tell the truth, I arranged and recorded the song ‘Janken Train’.
You know the dance of the song is very interesting and fun.
After left the Chugginton booth, we saw so many many model railroad on display.
The Odakyu Line.
The Keikyu Line. Can you see the passengers?
There were some huge railroad dioramas and many model railroads were running. The old men (staff) operating the model railroads were look like happily.
After left the venue, we had a nice buffet lunch at the hotel restaurant ‘Marmolada’. We enjoyed this little summer event very much.
Finally, I got an iPad! It’s very very useful for document viewing, browsing website, checking twitter, watching iTunes U, podcasting videos and YouTube Videos. In addition, its big screen is very good for my aged eyes. After much debate, I choose the wi-fi version of iPad because 3G network costs are too expensive for me. I have an iPhone already. And I also have a docomo cell phone. And I have a MacBook, an iPod Touch, a Kindle and a Canon EOS digital camera… too many my favorite digital gadgets in my bag.
OK, I love my iPad very much now. It makes my life so much fun.
I got a flickr account to organize all my photos several days ago. Now the Photo on this blog is shared from my flickr. I think you can see my photos more beautiful and in various sizes. And I can find my photos easily. I’m also going to try the iPhone app for flickr to post my photos on twitter from iPhone.
My wife makes ‘umeboshi’ – Japanese salty pickled plums every year and the season to dry plums has come again this year. We need to use a large amount of ‘shiso’ leaves to make umeboshi. I used to hate shiso when I was a child, but now I can eat them more than before. I used to be able to eat umeboshi without shiso leaves. But in recent years, I rather prefer ‘umeboshi’ using red shiso leaves.
I upgraded Phonotronika’s SoundCloud account from a free account to a Lite account to send our songs to many groups. To spread our songs, sending to many groups is very important. Of course I wanna spread our songs to the world, but at first, we need to receive feedback from SoundCloud friends.
